Purchased this Tempered glass from taobao.. using EZBUY
cost is around 10.55 SGD.. quality is really good but super minor halo effect.. cover full screen !

Huawei support team reply my mail , mate 9 only support 4G WiFi not 5G that why the speed below 100Mbps.

Mine is worst at ~60Mbps, tested with Asus RT-68 and RT-88, 2.4GHz or 5GHz. Just to be sure, I tested the HTC 10 and it did ~400Mbps down.

So far have 3 minor imperfection with Mate 9

1) Wi-Fi not as fast as Samsung.
2) Screenshot scroll doesn't work in website.
3) Miss Samsung keyboard. Its more efficient.

I am nitpicking as they are really minor.

One things for sure, installing of apps is crazy fast.

try turning off mobile data and speedtest again, strangely i did that i get faster throughput.. compared to my N6P, mate 9 is slower...
anyway i try not to be too bothered abt it. normal surfing or streaming videos won't make a diff

anyone knows if the wifi+ feature in mate 9 actually work? or just gimmicky

Just bought the Spigen Rugged Armour case from qoo10... the smart case is useless against drops... I know because I already crack my screen

Now waiting for Huawei Customer Service to call me when the replacement LCD arrive as they only have the gold one - you will need to replace the LCD and casing apparently.

I think they misunderstood your question. Huawei Mate 9 supports 4g cellular signal not 5g. I never heard of 4g or 5g WiFi. WiFi fastest is AC and the Mate 9 supports AC

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Until now people didn't find a way to put Google play store firmware into china set properly, with updater working, even into normal mate 9.

Original SP. No charges for the LCD replacement BUT if there are other internal damages (e.g., water got in because screen cracked), then there might be.

I dropped my Note 5 in a Spigen case and tempered glass protector a few times and nothing cracked.

The original screenprotector is very good but finger print all over the screen. I dont think my finger were so oily.

2) the Screenshot scroll works with everything. Are you sure you did it correctly?
3) Samsung fanboys cannot get used to other keyboards.
