I have checked with the staff over at Huawei Store at 313. Confirmed 2 years. Different country has different warranty policy so it will only show 1 year when checked using the website. But be rest assured that it has 2 years warranty after confirming with the staff.

And when it comes to claiming warranty the staff's claim will be long forgotten? Without receipt explicit indication of 2 years, they will use the website same like what I see in the Nexus 6p thread.

the peeling sides of my TGSP is driving me nuts!!
in order for flat TGSP not to peel, i estimate it has to stay at least 0.4mm away from the edges, maybe even more for the top edge.

anyone knows where to get a quality film screen protector for the mate 9?

Dunno to. I am still waiting for it. As of now normal TGSP still cannot cover the mate 9 edge screen. Although the edge is not as deep as s7e
