Same here from s7e to iPhone then to mate 9. S7e is an awesome phone without doubt but the curved screen is quite a headache for any forms of screen protector to protect it from scratches or whatsoever.

Is actually quite nicely fitted. Just that the left and right side edge not fully cover. Other then that no air bubble. Quite pleasant!

I'm trying to use this method on xda, download the firmware and put it into the dload folder and update manually. See if it works.
