I think should be same, but not fare to compare without viewing on monitor, as mate 9 pro have 2k ammoled screen

I think the main difference is the extra 2GB ram which should make it run even faster and smoother.

But the Huawei Original Power Adaptor connected to the power supply can output max 5A so most cable in the market might not be able to take the current loading ?
The original power adapter will only output the amount of current that 3rd party cable can handle and your device will only charge at that lower amount of current so obviously it will only be charging slowly. It will not forcefully output a 5A. It does not work this way.

Managed to update to b136 after using a Thai ais sim card. Seems like overall performance is smoother and finally icons for notifications.

Yes a number of us all used expired SIM, worked perfectly. Seems to work with Malaysian and Thai SIM cards as our version is the SEA firmware.

2k ammoled screen, stereo sound, 128gb storage (no expansion though). front fingerprint scanner,

Make sure only the foreign sim is activated, after that can use wifi to download the B136 firmware.

When I was in Malaysia and using dual standby, Singtel and Celcom, I did not get the firmware update.

After disabling the Singtel, then the B136 OTA was available.

HTH.
