For POGO, I tried for 3 hours with screen most of the time on and battery at the end left 55% which is pretty amazing.

No comment on audio and video but think this 2 should last much longer.

But the OnePlus 3T is using a 3400mAH as compare to Mate 9 which is 4000 so I think it's quite unfair to compare this 2 phones.

I do notice that when the battery is 90% full, the light on top right hand will indicate it's full already and not at 100%..................:s8:

The loss u suffer on an ip7+ is much higher actually cause mate 9 brand new is cheap at around 700 now. Nowadays iPhone is being priced at a high side so the depreciation is like driving a mercs vs driving a toyota.

After the software update, seems like mate 9 camera improved and I'm quite satisfied. In fact its on par with my previous ip7+

I would not agree with your last statement IF you pixel peep. The Mate 9 is noisier and does not capture minute details like wood grain etc. But I have to say I really like the pop out and hit you in the face colours of the Mate 9.

imo buying phone with a resale mindset is funny.... probably why now there are so many iPhone users. resale mentality more than usefulness of the phone itself....condo mentality

For IPhone, if you buy when recontract.

Definitely can sell at a profit and even after 2 years, u might even sell at a profit or break even unlike other brands.

You use a phone everyday as compare to other thing so if you compare price to usage.

I think no need to look at resale value.

We are not talking very expensive item here.

Just like why some still buy the Mate 9 Limited Edition.

In life, just buy what you like and be happy.

Mate 8 wasn't a spectacular phone. Mate 9 is. 1 year down the road resale maybe 400 to 500

The 1+ 3T is also using smaller 5.5" screen, AMOLED without always on backlight + pentile means less pixel to lit = less power needed.
