Huawei Mate 9

I have been a happy user from Mate 7 /8 because of the battery and screen size but the camera on these 2 older model is just so so... now on Mate 9 also because of the battery.... I really wish Mate 9 had a delicate sd slot too.. Leica camera is an added bonus for me

am using primarily for emails and whatsapp and tethering when overseas.

without the sd slot, i am just worried it will fill up fast as i dun spring clean my hp often.. lols

For me, is the display quality, and both are 1080p but V20 looks wash out. I find Mate 9 is better. And also camera wise, the choice is clear.

from past one (and only one) experience, i dare not try LG again. plus, don't really mind the 1080 screen but battery life on the Mate 9 is a beast.

sounds like a terrible experience. I need a reliable hp too due to work and travel purposes.

the battery life will be a godsend for the tethering..

Better buy the phone at Best Denki $898 (gift 32gb MC, bluetooth headset, fitness band, flip cover and power bank 10k mhz)
Then use your plan to get Iphone 7 (m1 got $150 off in recent promotion) and sell it off.
