Still love android more than iOS faster going back to iPhone 7plus from s7 edge

IOS is crap now compared to Android hands down. after Steve Jobs. Apple is going down hill. no question about it

Long lasting battery life, more or less the same on both but probably better on the Mate 9.

Ease of finding accessories, iPhone 7 plus.

Warranty, Mate 9.

Price, Mate 9.

Have headphone jack, Mate 9.

It all depends on what you really want.

Actually if we talk about resale value based on phone price alone.

Brand new
Iphone 7 plus 128gb - $1200 to $1350
Mate 9 - $700 to $798

Resale value after a year (estimated)
Iphone 7 plus 128gb - $850 to $1000
Mate 9 - $450 to $550

The loss u suffer on an ip7+ is much higher actually cause mate 9 brand new is cheap at around 700 now. Nowadays iPhone is being priced at a high side so the depreciation is like driving a mercs vs driving a toyota.

After the software update, seems like mate 9 camera improved and I'm quite satisfied. In fact its on par with my previous ip7+

Not too sure bros here got experience this. Yesterday used phone till left <10% in battery. Facebook was unable to load. Crashes whenever I open the app. Today once phone fully charged, the app works well. Anyone experience this before? Many thanks.

mate 9 has over aggressive power management.... on oneplus 3T now after mate9 it's cleaner. battery life is great too. dash charging is comparable /better than mate 9 quick charge

Hah surprising I had the opposite of yours. I have better battery life and overall experience on mate9 hence I sold my 1+3T. Guess is up to individual usage.

I doubt Huawei phone can fetch that much. Using Mate 8 as reference, the highest take in price I saw was $300. Some of the shops don't even take in Mate 8 anymore. Of cuz, you'll lose more with the iPhone 7 Plus, but it's definitely easier to sell. Personally I'll go for Mate 9 because of the 2 years warranty.
