After connecting the cable to your pc, you need to tap on the navigation bar and there will be a usb setting there, just select Device file manager (MTP) instead of Charge only.

anyone using micro sd 256GB on this phone yet? able to share the brand & model of the micro sd card as well as the performance & stability of it ?

Have you allow USB connection or unlock the phone when doing this?

It's way about time. I always wondered when and why it was not happening since Huawei is now the third best selling phone brand in t he world as compared to the other brands that have their own threads. Doesn't justify it's popularity and commitment to it's brand and to their consumers.

anyone bought this phone because you think you're getting ufs2.1 memory and lpddr4 ram? looks like some unlucky ones are getting ufs2.0/emmc 5.1 and lpddr3 in their mate 9 & p10.

P10 or mate 9 is not using eMMC memory. That for sure as I am using them currently. They are using UFS memory and trust me you don't feel the different in speed unless you are using eMMC.

Battery tip.

Go to locations, on the top right corner three dots, go to scanning.

Turn off active google scanning for wifi and bluetooth.

My standby battery life got alot better after disabling it.

Checked on aida64, lpddr4.
But how to check whether it's ufs2.1 or not?

After updated to b172, my facebook and a
Instagram apps do not show the red boxed numbered badges. Only when u open apps then its show. Can anyone help. Try uninstall and install again., same. And i am very sure my. Oush notification is on. ><

Hi,

I need urgent help after numerous attempts to solve this issue. I am not able to see my Mate when i connect via USB to my PC.

Under Dev Mgr, i see this:-

Can anyone advise how i can re-install the correct driver?

I've done so many things after googling for ans but still fail.

I can see my Mate on my laptop though.

Check your close apps after screen off settings

Recalibrated my battery and seems a little more stable and no heating up anymore. But the mobile data will still auto switch off after I disconnected from WiFi after a long usage, particularly the next morning when I wake up and left the house when no longer connected to wifi. Anyone experiencing this issue??


Anyone also connect their phone to smart bands? My phone is not always well-connected to xiao mmiband2. It shows connected but in order to get notification, I will always need to reset the permission multiple times a day. Had no issue with other phones
