Daily use won't notice any difference la. Plus mate 9 is plenty fast already although I did notice a little lag here and there once in a while. Screen on time is respectable but off screen drain is quite annoying hence I'm still back to my MI 5s plus since I don't use the camera that much to begin with

Had the infamous Huawei issue with whatsapp, email, call and other app new message notifications not showing on the app icon. Not sure what setting i changed.

Tried every suggested notifications setting and battery app close setting still no way to get those little numbers to appear, even reinstalled Whatsapp didnt work.

Finally did a reset network settings solved the issue, but need to config settings from scratch. Till now i have no idea what triggered it.

LOL , forgot to bring my fast charger home ystday and had to use my old note 4 charger with the adapter.

9% from 6:30pm to this morning 6am only charge till 36%

Wa... I didnt know this is an issue. I always tot Huawei phone is like this. Mine only whatsapp has the notification on the app icon. The rest all dun hv. Seems like I am having the same problem as yours.

you can check notification badge is on.. if on but not working, can try to toggle off and on to see if it works

Many replies on this in this thread and on the internet. No it is not normal. Resetting the network settings allowed all those little numbers to re appear in ALL apps.... for now.

hi, fb has no notification on the icon only appear on the top status bar.

My mate 9 pro just got sudden death. Was still working when I put it to charge and went to sleep. When I woke up in the morning, there was no power, tried all sort of long hold button in attempt to reset also no response.. When charging cable is in also no light.

Anyone can advise if local service centre can fix this? If not any other solution?

Shift to another place to charge...
Maybe your charger adapter spoilt ?
If you have power bank, try to charge your phone from power bank.
If still no power after 30 mins, could be the USB-c cable

Other than that .... try Huawei SC at 313 Somerset.

Omg, my set or HK set?if it's my set,suggest to bring to Malaysia immediately ? I don't think service center here will help though, good luck to you and keep us posted !
