Did it happen while in your pocket? Mine happened while in pocket where it wrecked havoc like making emergency calls, send messages, on torchlight, on camera and take pictures, system reset, etc. It's because of the icon for easy access whilst in lock screen mode which I brought up earlier in the thread.

No worries bro. I am also asking Huawei to provide an option to disable this if not required but not well received. In the meantime, we can only be careful of the phone in the pocket or use a flip case as suggested by fellow Maters. Cheers

i searched your post in this thread and what i gathered is that yes when you swipe up, there's some icons that can be clicked. but how did a factory reset happen within these icons?

I'm trying to get Playlists synced into the Huawei Mate9..

Tried using isyncr and mediamonkey but the huawei default player dont recognise the playlists.

Anyone know how to solve this issue?

Any folks able to get playlists working on the stock player?

Another way is to apply screen lock via Setting.

I also set that but the lock screen icon usage overrides this. Even the Huawei tech also said that nothing can be helped to off this.

Somehow or rather, the icon will release others and emergency calling. It could have been triggered by the safety mode which happened to me and another Mater who highlighted it here as well.

2 years for phone and 1 year for screen. But got to keep your receipt for verification.
