It looks like quite a number of common apps cannot work well with Oreo. Good to hold back the update for another 1-2 months to allow apps developers to update their apps to work with Oreo.

You need to activate the field mode when taking photo, then you can adjust at the photo later.

Photos on SD card show up in my Albums tab in Huawei's gallery, but doesn't appear under Photos tab.. anyone knows how to solve this?

Have cleared cache for gallery and media storage to no avail.. other gallery apps (Quickpic, A+ album, work fine -_-)

if there's one gripe about Huawei's apps this is it. pathetic gallery. arranging the folders funnily if u try to scroll while dragging folder it becomes a tortoise.. damn slow and jerky.




Edit: ok found out why. Huawei's blardy gallery app only shows photos on the internal storage. SD card stuff doesn't show -_- double wtf

Using Mate 9, anyone experiencing wifi got disconnected and can't login?
Seems difficult to connect via wifi.

Using another phone: Note 4 to try, no problem in connecting to home wifi though.

I couldn't connect to office WiFi and checked the encryption method which solved the issue. Previously using note 4 too which could connect automatically.

but these rly are a good 'long term' phone tho bc they stay fast compared to the s7e. it got to the pt where i had to reset it once about every ~3 months for it to stay smooth on nougat which was why i sold them.

Me use for 1 year without any reset. So far I am still enjoying it everyday
