My Singtel thermal printer receipt cannot see anything already But, I did check online that mine is till end December.

No need receipt, I send mine in last week for repairs also. Vol. button not working, 5GHz not usable. Told them battery not good also.

Came back two days later almost like a new HP. Must say, very good service. :s12:

Hi can check did they factory reset the whole phone for replacement of battery? All the apps still have? Or like a brand new phone?

All data will be loss. You need to backup your phone before sending in...

Screen free replacement is 1 Yr only

Mate 9 warranty is 2 years for handset, 2 years for screen accidental damage. IIRC, Mate 9 is last for 2 years warranty for screen accidental damage, from Mate 10 onwards, it's 3 months only.

I'm also surprised that they didn't charge me for the battery as usually battery is covered for 6 months (1 year warranty) or half of the handset warranty. Not that I'm complaining though. :)

I see. My bad. I thought it was for 2 years when I did a warranty check and it says I'm still entitled to 1 free screen replacement. My set warranty expires on 28/12/2018.

I got Mate 9 at around $600 last year and I'm still very happy with it.

Mate 20 Pro is more than double the price but since I seldom take photos, my Mate 9 is highly usable for another 1-2 years until the battery requires replacement or the Android OS becomes too outdated.

I used to change handphones every 3-4 years in the past but nowadays manufacturers make you want to change every year...

Now average is still more like 2 years.

More people are switching to SIM only plans and more and more will use good phones for three years. 4 years may be difficult now especially for Android due to the lack of updates and battery degradation.
