Is p30 lite worth it?

For its price below S$300 and 6GB/128GB configuration, P30 Lite is an okay phone.
But if you want to compare it with Nova 5T, then they are different class of product.
Nova 5T CPU of Kirin 980 is way faster than the low end Kirin 710 used in P30 Lite. Kirin 710 is roughly equipment to SD660/SD665 CPU used in low end phones like Realme 5.
P30 Lite also does not have NFC if you value that.
Good thing about both P30 Lite and Nova 5T is that they are the last batches of Huawei phones with native GMS support.
In terms of performance of last batches of Huawei phones with GMS
P30 Pro > P30 > Nova 5T > P30 Lite.
First three are using Kirin 980 CPU.

No always on display, as Nova 5T is using LCD screen and not AmoLED.

Interestingly after one year plus, Nova 5T is still selling well as the cheaper alternative to P30 and P30 Pro (same Kirin 980 CPU). These phones are the last batch of Huawei phones with official Google GMS.
Hisuite missing in Nova 5T?
I wanted to do a backup for the first time and realised that there is no Hisuite software on my Nova 5T phone? Cannot find this in the app store on the phone either.
Anyone faced the same situation before?

yeah i know, i have the hisuite app on my mate 9 and mate 20 phones but not found on my nova5t.
I need the app to generate a code to connect to PC.

Hmm, never used HiSuite myself but I believe it is not necessary.
I can not find the HiSuite app on all my three Huawei phones, P20, Nova 5T and Nova 3i.
Anyway what if you follow the following guide to see if it works or not.

I can see the settings for "HDB" for my phones.

First enter Settings, then type HDB into the top search box.
Click on "Allow HiSuite to use HDB" in the search results.
Please agree to the authorizations on your phone when connecting.
(If you want to revoke the authorizations after using HiSuite, please click on "Revoke HiSuite's HDB authorizations".)
Open HiSuite on your phone,enter the displayed eight-digit verification code into the verification code input box on the computer, and click the "Connect Now" button.

Tried all the above but doesn't work. The literature / manual for Nova 5t implies the existance of this app but in reality does not exist in the Nova 5t. Very strange.
In my M9 and M20 i found this app very useful in backing up, copying, moving files, photos etc between PC and phone both ways.

I checked the use manual and it does not say the phone got the HiSuite App.
Still you may want to contact Huawei for help.
