My P30 Pro randomly has a man's voice saying "Please dial 1 if your call is urgent". It happens a few times and I cannot find which apps or why the phone is behaving that way. When it happens, there is no background apps running .... Anyone knows what's happening?



The message is always the same, the voice will speak up sometimes when i was taking pictures and sometimes when i just left the phone on the table without touching it ... strange.

You guys have this issue with the marco len?

There is a black spot in the pic taken from super marco and it follows in the screen no matter how i orientate the phone. The other one is taken normally. Is this normal?

I had this almost similar prob where a man talking in Malay would suddenly blast out. I checked and somehow it would sound out whenever I received Whatsapp msgs. Then i checked Whatsapp Notification sound and found out it was set as some "Indonesian" tone.

So you might want to see if any app has had its notification alert set to some weird sound file.

just got my p30, got some questions.

1. how to hide apps? I cant seems to find this function.

2. Is there any way to turn on notification light when i get a message?

If I am not wrong, P30 does not have a notification light. I am using a P30 lite now, the notification light is at the top left of the speaker. I played with my P30 and there isn't any light there.

I recontracted for a P30 (Non pro) and bought a P30 lite from the shops to see see what's the big diff of the two.
Probably will sell away one, still deciding which to keep.
So far from my observations.

P30 lite:
- Processor lower spec.
- 6GB ram compared to 8GB on the P30
- Camera and overall not as good but still decent enough.

Advantages over P30:
- Screen is 0.05 bigger
- Notification light
- Rear fingerprint faster and more accurate.(Not surprising)

*Personal opinion, the peacock blue is slight bit nicer than P30's Aurora.*

And one last thing to take note when getting the breathing crystal. Do check the charging port area and also the back glass sides near the bezels.
A lot of my friends who bought that colour are getting damaged units. Not too much of damages. But I considered it as a defective unit.
Either scratches near the charging port, slight back glass chipped off near the bezel.
Not a big fan to get such a set for the money we are paying for it.

normally i don't. but this time round, the people boast p30 pro can replace dslr... so decide to gamble. Was monitoring the user bugs tho.....so far not much problems. so just bought 1 @ 1120. the price can drop somemore if wait few weeks more.

u should consider too..... the phone is awesome.
the camera....zoom in crazy.... image quality is impressive... video recording fantastic~ the fingerprint scanner is ridiculous fast


erm but i don't think got notification light.

For app drawer, home screen style choose drawer.

There is no light notification for P30.

Anybody got the freebuds lite as the free gift?

I have been using the freebuds lite and it seems that the tap right bud to play/stop music and tap any bud to answer calls is rather inconsistent. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
