Considering but I am quite happy with my U12+ so far.
I am sure the speakers on the P30 Pro lose to the U12+, but looks to win in every other department.

Wanna play with it in the shop first before deciding.

Went naked with my new P20 Pro, with a tempered glass screen protector and a back film protector. Dropped it 3 months in, cracked the screen. Never going naked again.

I'm still going for the Aurora colorway but i'll put it in a clear case.

I think all Huawei shops and even the Telco shops have demo sets already. I went to Huawei shop at Vivo. The Sales is really clueless, he doesnt even know the launch event will be at Vivo on April 6th.

It has always been this way. Phones that are released in first half of the year wont be getting new CPU.

Ya i find their promotions really confusing too. Everywhere giving different freebies. Worst is i went to Huawei shop to ask when can preorder from shop, they say no idea.

I doubt it will sound better than a dual firing speaker but you never know. Even if it is close, it is worth considering.

Optical fingerprint confirm more reliable and faster. Seeing how many people are pissed off with the S10 ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, I think this should be far more reliable.

are you the kind who play music, the sound direct from phone speaker? to me no issue cos I don't blast direct from phone (always inferior compared to say, through a Bluetooth speaker). anyway, there is a review done about the new tech (vibrating screen) and during the review testing the sound was pretty loud

they also claimed that the upgraded finger print scanner, although still optical, can unlock in 0.5 secs, and most importantly you don't need to press hard on the screen (like in ultrasonic). just touch can liao.

it's overall a great phone except idk how the screen with <400dpi will look like in real life... some commented it's not as sharp as previous flagships.

and it weighs a brick @ 192g
