anyone experience not so responsive fingerprint scanner?

it's like, when the phone is on standby, when I move my finger near, see the fingerprint lights up and press, it'll not unlock. have to redo it again and it'll immediately unlock.

what's the 'correct' way to use the scanner to avoid such a hassle?

no need to wait for light up, just press onto the fingerprint scanner.

if not sensitive, just try with other fingers. It can also be due to your screen protector.

Hi guys, recently purchased a P30 non-pro. Does anyone experience overnight battery drain? Drop close to 10% just within 6hours. Instagram app was one of the culprit but problem still persist after managing it. Not sure if its supposed to be like this.
Never encounter before. My p30 battery life is amazing!

I think you got a lemon.

Check with the pros here, does anyone know if we on AOD, can it result in burn in issues in future like on the Samsung phones?

P30pro at 50 times also difficult to stabilize. That's the nature of zoom. The higher the zoom, any small movement is amplified (even with OIS).

Hi All,

I switched from being a long time apple user to the P30 Pro 2 days ago. First impression is that the phone looks good and is amazing. I then went to stick on TG SP (the kind with black edges and glue on the sides), and all hell broke loose.

Firstly, the guy sticking it on didnt align it properly, making the phone top left corner (where the clock is on the main screen) go crazy. The clock started activating by itself, almost as if someone kept tapping on the area. I presume its the TG SP so I removed it and realigned it and it became fine. Then it happened again and I had to realign it once again. I dont know if this happens to curved screen phones or just because of the TG SP. Without the TG SP, it is fine. but its funny because I thought the touch screen only works when you tap a finger (or something, like those rubber touchscreen pen thing)?

Also, for most apps, the top left (haha, top left again) is the back button. Coming from an iphone, Im still used to pressing the top left to go back, instead of the button back button. However, I feel that its not sensitive, and when I tap the back button, it doesnt register. This is most noticiable with the Philips Hue app. I dont know if its the app or just the sensitivity of the phone (I dont have fat fingers btw). Other apps is a hit or miss, and I usually have to click more than once to go back a page within the app. Is this common with curved screen phones? oh, and I tried it with both the screen naked and with the TG SP, same results. Please enlighten me if I'm clicking it wrong or is there like a specific area that i have to click?

I really like the phone but this is killing me. Im not too sure if I have a faulty phone so I just wanted to check with all the experts here. I'm really tempted to ditch the phone and go back to iphone as I'm a pretty heavy phone user.

Thank you!!

*edit: I tried the google play store app and the 3 stripes at the search bar also has to be clicked multiple times befor it can show the menu. Just to add Top right has no issues (the mic button), i can click it with 1 touch

Backup your data and try factory reset the phone?

just factory reset the phone, and the problem still persists. Could it be a faulty screen?

Does anyone else have the problem with the google play store? Try clicking on the 3 stripes in the search bar. i have to click it rather forcefully to get it to display the menu. The mic is fine, a light touch and it activates. tried without the TG SP and same as well.

Should I bring it to Huawei for a check?
