Don't think I will get the P30 Pro since its using the same SoC. Only real improvement is the camera. And I can't give up the headphone jack unless I get the smaller P30


1 full day sure can. Mate and P series usually difference is camera and design but this time round they are quite similar other than Mate 20 Pro having a better display. The real potential issue is finding a good tempered glass that isn't Whitestone Dome(quite expensive).

The target audience for P and Mate series are somewhat different. The Mate series focuses on pixels and processors, and tends to be ahead of other phones on having the latest processor. The P series targets those who are more concerned about the design sense, new colors and photo-taking capabilities.


Different series is targeted for different group. p20 pro was well known for taking photo as for the price tag, it beat iphone/samsung.

I usually get mine from taobao. Other than tempered glass, can try TPU film. As for cover, I tend to get UAG and Spigen.

if daytime & outdoor, not much different in quality.
if daytime & indoor, p30 pro better
if night time, p30 pro better....
if portrait mode, p30 pro better with TOF sensor.

i think worth to buy since huawei offer 2 years warranty....

I believe both P30 and P30 Pro have HDR. Cannot be worse than my Mate 20 lol. I agree with that nano SD part. It's dumb. Had to move my microSD to my tablet since it can't be used on Huawei phone anymore.

but think of good size at least they allow extended memory as pixel getting bigger internal memory sure burst fast

When on Mate 20pro, dont need WSD. Better quality TG also works well with fingerprint
