you guys are tempting the rest of us to try sideloading gms… :o although in principle it is not safe to do so (and also no guarantee it will work down the road with updates/patches).

is there a website where we can check which are the google apps that require google safetynet pass in order to work (e.g. GooglePay being one such app)?

if I can sideload the google apps I need for work (I don't use GooglePay) I might try to stay with Huawei. currently very much inclined towards Oppo Find X2 Pro.
I had both...
Oppo Find X2 Pro
- smooth Ui (120hz)
- sd865
- sexy (began leather)

Huawei P40P
- good night shot
- innovative deaign

Sideloaded GMS Huawei not meant for those to use as main phone in my opinion. Unless you have a few phones and You do not mind the hassle.

mate30 pro my main phone wif no playstore

p30 pro my sec phone + normally not with me

work for me 99% of the time

what's your take? I'm not sure if I can overcome the lack of GMS for my work purposes...

never had an oppo before but I thought this x2 pro is a good start with good overall build except that the camera sensors aren't as big as p40 pro's.

or maybe I should wait for p40 pro+ in June? hmm...

It works for you in this case. For me I have iPhone as my work phone, Internet banking and all secure apps on this phone. Personal phone just use for WhatsApp and taking photos which is currently the p40pro. Spare phone is the s10lite for Google maps, Netflix, etc

Does anyone who has bought a Mate 30 series, P40 series or Mate Xs also owns a Samsung Galaxy Watch? Want to know if anyone has had success using Samsung Pay on the watch paired with Huawei Phone.

Any help appreciated!

Swagsell one better than Imran. Tested Google pay works also (for in apps purchases)

There is quite a few variations of the installaton process out there, I used the swagsell German one as the Imran one didn't work for me

One issue I encountered after install was that I cannot download any previously paid apps :(
