Nope not able to use Google Pay, the device needs to be certified by Google.

You can sideload most of the missing Google apps so that isn't a concern.oh also no Widevine certification, so Netflix doesn't run in HD. Just too many issues for me to bother with. Not like no other Android phone to choose from. It's unfortunate the orange fool has handicapped Huawei this way, but hey, that's not my problem.

Good for you then, this phone is ideal for your use case. I wouldn't make the assumption that Google Pay is unpopular just because you don't use it though.
