if they bring to SG, does that means they will support standard app like youtube and netflix?

Unfortunately no.

HWZ news on the Huawei’s 2026 MatePad 11.5 S.

https://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/mob...atte-s-11-5-2026-tablet-specs-price-singapore

Other core specs include its 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, 8,800mAh battery with 40W wired charging support, Bluetooth 5.2, and four built-in speakers. Huawei didn’t specify which processor it uses, but has openly stated that it runs on HarmonyOS 4.3. This means you have to use the Huawei AppGallery apps, and have no access to Google Mobile Services or Google Play Store right out of the box.

Another reference for old HWZ news, back in May 2021.
https://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/mob...tepad-goes-big-videos-now-available-singapore

By now, most users would know that Huawei's still running on HMS and doesn't have convenient access to the Google Play Store. By default, that locks out content like Netflix and Disney+, but the firm makes it up with access to other streaming services. Huawei MatePad comes pre-installed with Huawei Video, its own video catalogue that packs access to content from BBC Studio, Paramount, Sony, and other publishers. It's free for the first month, followed on with a monthly S$7.98 for ad-free streaming and no content restrictions for premium content.

That being said, as long as it has Widevine Level 1 DRM, it should have no issues with Youtube 4K.

Netflix 4k is probably not possible, maybe only HD or 1080p. I do not use Netflix so I am not sure.
thanks for the additional info. if its really officially here, maybe just to to huawei experience center and ask.

I've just received the review unit of the Huawei MatePad Mini.

Available 24 April 2026. Price SGD 748 before discount. From what I see, Shopee and Lazada may include the pen and flip cover.

Hardware as usual is really good, great actually. Limitation as usual is the lack of official support for Google Play Store.

One other downside is the lack of cellular support for the units sold in Singapore.

I feel like if there is cellular support, there may be people who will use this as a phone, except you can't put this in a pocket. lol.

At first I thought I read Xiaomi Pad Mini $675, then I thought you had a point.

Then I read properly and you meant iPad mini (128GB)... LOL. That tablet is ancient tech selling at $675. The only thing of value of that tablet is iPadOS. I have iPad mini too and it's night and day comparison.

Unfortunately main downside of MatePad Mini is lack of Google Play Store. Might as well get Xiaomi Pad mini which is still better than iPad mini in many ways

After thinking about it, I decided to go for the Huawei Matepad Mini 5G (512GB, China set) and got the stylus too! I bought it from Shopee, but the shipping from China to Singapore will take about 2 weeks.

I was a bit worried if the HarmonyOS would actually run my Google apps, but after messing with it for a day, almost everything works great! All the apps I installed are running perfectly. The only thing is, I can't find a few apps I usually use, but hopefully, they' will be added later.

Good news: apps like UOB, Singpass, HealthHub, and CPF Mobile all work fine. Even Microsoft and Google apps have zero issues! I can use my Google Drive and sync my pictures to Google Photos without any trouble.
I supposed you use EasyAbroad for the Google apps?
Was wondering how Chinese users manage it when they travel abroad.
What's the version of HarmonyOS now for your Matepad Mini?

Is there a way to download those Google Apps like Youtube or Gmail?
