Why should MOM put a limit to how much OT pay is payable? If the person's basic exceeds the limit, then the boss can ask him to work OT for free is it? Then if he refuse to be free labor, and the boss angry, can get in trouble?

Overtime work is all work in excess of the normal hours of work (excluding breaks).
You can claim overtime if you are:
- A non-workman earning a monthly basic salary of $2,600 or less.
- A workman earning a monthly basic salary of $4,500 or less.
