How do you guys bring your DX100 out? I always hold it in my hands but feel risky if someone were to knock me and it drops. :(

yeah, maybe drill some small vents for air ventation as well.

something like this will be protective and also allow for headphone cables:

poweramp works from what headfiers wrote. But I don't think it allows for 24bit 88/96/192khz playback

Which D-filter do you guys use?

I find the sharp roll-off sounds best to my ears(analogue sounding).. slow roll-off is way too bright(harsh digital sounding).

Was thinking of poweramp for my DX100 as well but gave up on the idea due to for the wider playback options.

I use the slow roll off on my UM3x. :)

I have the paid version on my android phone it would be ok to use it no limitations. :p

The only thing I need would be the playback option which poweramp don't support. I still keep it on my DX100 though in case someone was curious and want to try them:s12:

I think I will skip on neutron mp... too tiny buttons for comfort.

Poweramp seems have the nicest interface but slutters with DX100.

... What? Poweramp stuttering? That thing can even run on a lousy 600mhz Qualcomm processor with no lag leh! :s22::s22:

There's a great synergy with the Vsonic GR07 on the DX100.. the usually laid back GR07 now has taken on a new life with lots of clarity and details and a very spacious soundstage.
