Can anyone recommend where I can get the following accessories at cheaper rate?

  1. Docking Station
  2. Power Adapter

For the model, T420
found it quite hard to get better price when i was out shopping for mine. differences if any are insignificant.

only the port replicator doesnt come with a power adapter, so do check before you decide to buy yet another adapter.

Noted. Then probably it is a wise choice to grab it off SLS?

Hmm how is the screen on the t420/x220? the 1366x768, any opinion?
The 1366x768 screen on both the T420/X220 looks decent.

The T420 should also have an option for the 1600x900 screen which I am more inclined to. I am not too sure if there are any options for the X220 though.

The 27++ slice battery is attached at the bottom of your ThinkPad, so you can use another battery concurrently with the slice.

Which of the current Thinkpads available at the NUS Computer Centre is better for someone who doesn't play a lot of games and is just using it for surfing, e-mailing and some financial analysis? They say they're out of the T410, so it's between the X201S and W510. Can't really wait until August when the new academic year starts, otherwise would wait to buy another T-series.

Can't post links, sorry.

Thanks for the help!

Anyone knows how to get a compatible battery working on a X200? :s22:

Just received it from the ebay seller and when I put it into the laptop, it recognizes the battery (battery level at 44%) but then it doesn't start charging :(

Seller offered to resend/refund but I have to ship it back to China at my own expense so trying to see if I can get it to work first..
