To all Lenovo owners who have the option of added a mSATA SSD, is anyone interested in getting this MyDigitalSSD 128GB mSATA SSD?

Link: http://www.mydigitaldiscount.com/mydigitalssd-128gb-50mm-bullet-proof-msata-ssd/

I am seriously thinking of ordering one for myself. When I checked the shipping, it is about US$30. If anyone else is interested, I think we can split the shipping costs.

So, is anyone keen?

Bumpity bump! Cousin will be flying back in Nov so I guess we can save on shipping, if anyone is interested!

You bought second hand? I think you can drop by or give their service centre at changi a call to enquire more. I remember they have some options for you to upgrade the warranty. But do note, it is going to cost you a bomb.

If you bought it brand new, I think you just need to keep your proof of purchase. The warranty should commence from the date stated on it.

Hi guys,

I am thinking of buying the W520 from lenovo.com. I will be heading there next month. Thinking if I should use a freight forwarding service to send it back here or should I receive it when I am there?

Also, regarding the Quadro 1000M and 2000M, any major differences? Although I intend to use them in 3D modelling applications (like CATIA), wondering if it is good for gaming?

My T61p (15.4") has a dead HSF for the third time. It's obviously out of warranty and ebay doesn't really have new pieces for FRU 42X4685. Anyone else had any luck?
