Bro you gt pm...

If you are curious, this is how your fan/heatsink looks like:

HUGE one. :)

I understand, but I just want the battery's lifespan to be longer as i can't afford to keep changing the battery

There is only so much that you can do for the battery lifespan. It can fail at anytime... 1 day, 1 mth, 1 year or 3 yrs. There is nothing that you can do. I believe that you have taken every precaution but if it goes belly up, what are you going to do? Get a new one.

Just bring it to the shops and show the person and he/she will get you an exact replacement. That's what I did. :)

Drop by Sim Lim, hunt down for either 500GB or 750GB disks. Should cost around $100 or less depending on brand, capacity and speed.

After that, just mount the disk in and load Windows 7. Quite easy to DIY for the harddisk replacement.

@ Gloom - Some bros here have purchased from me before (will the bros please stand up?). If you need a quote, let me know and I will give you a special HWZ price. ;) But honestly, if you want the best price then you can try buying it via comgateway.

@ Samloi - If you can live with an external HDD and dont work on large files, you should really try getting a SSD. It really helps with the performance.

I heard from a customer that the T420s is not available locally at the SLS/Funan shops. Is this true?
