Tried ordering from Lenovo US but it doesn't acknowledge freight forwarding addresses like Vpost. Also tried Amazon Checkout but it didn't work. Any tips to bypass this?

Why would you be backing up that? It contains all the junk which if you create a restore disk would be 1xCDR, 3xDVDR. If really want to 'backup', find something that can creates images or lets say 50MB each then throw all of them into skydrive (25GB) or something...

I bought the same item, from another seller though. It works for Duplicate. But it does not work for Extend. It cannot detect my Samsung SyncMaster T260HD. It even gives blue screen at times. Can yours do the Extend?

It works ok when I boot from HDD. Can Duplicate, Extend, etc. However, when I boot from mSata SSD, can Duplicate. Once I choose Extend, Blue Sreen! Hmm....conflict with mSata SSD?

Also, realised that x220 does not have Presentation Director that I used to have for my x61. Missed it a lot as it can do all sort of scheme setup, when stand alone, when connector to external, when dock, when remove from dock. Is there any other replacement for Presentation Director?

The drivers of lenovo sometimes give bluescreen, go intel and download and see if it helps.

Also, can use ultramon, is one of the best for multiple monitors...lots of features, like click on a button at menu it will pop to the other screen, no need to drag across

If you can't find one in the shops, you can always get the cable from eBay. Or you can get the dvi > hdmi and then get the hdmi > displayport adapter.

My Thinkpad shut down unexpectedly earlier in office. After I power on my Thinkpad, I notice the lights above the keyboard does not work anymore. Those lights signals capslock, scrolllocks, hard disk activity, Wireless activity.

Any experts care to share some advise please? I'm not sure should I ring up my I.T department tomorrow.

If you are referring to this: P-F2CD000 Belkin DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cable, then I believe it will work.

Hi guys. I'm sourcing for a notebook.... looking at the T520, but there were some reports that there was hissing and cracking sound during normal usage........

That kindda scares me from ordering direct from Lenovo USA since I require better specs....

Actually I think can order direct from Lenovo Parts Store. There is a number to call on their Lenovo Support Site.
