Just that some brands the packaging really lousy low quality.. makes me wonder if those brands are legit... coz also never hear of those brand names..

One brand I still have the bottle Life Extension, find the label printing and quality really not so good.. duno what this brand is also....

But sometimes they give you good shite
Cos one actually put steroids in its bottles haha

Damn horrible to hear that and many people kind of like confirm on that...
But how normal consumers like us will know if the pills are real or they are spike with steroids?!! We got no means to perform lab test right?

What brands you bought? Just buy those bigger brands lor. I find the packaging ok leh. iherb got expensive ones and very cheap supplements.

So far those I bought are not the most high end range...
I buy those with highest sales, and the price range are low to mid range so far..
But notice some brands... really feel a bit doubtful...
Think next time better research properly online before buying...!

There's only a few isn't it
One is myprotein

They generally won't spike with steroids
I mean there's hooha decades ago over it during sports events in US when the American athletes tested positive

But these days they won't do it
So when Pogba claimed it recently, it's largely dismissed as BS

Anyway in US this industry isn't well regulated
Not sure about now

But I guess if something gives you extraordinary results time to get suspicious

Anyway steroids isn't what they're thinking of and what you should be worried about
They are mainly thinking of fat loss crap

Initially bought 1 brand did not notice anything.

But after buying few more brands, find that most of the brands I bought, their packaging and labelling really quite lousy quality type... like those from Value Shop kind of feel and look... Looks like the real thing, but quality is really few notches lower.... That is just talking about packaging that is visible..

Really wonder if the quality of the supplement is ok or not seeing the very low quality of the packaging...

Some more the brand names all like never hear before...
Strangely, their products mostly got many many good reviews on their site.....

But this is my experience with one if the items--- during the pandemic I was taking high dosage of Vitamin D which I bought from iherb . Then when I mentioned it to my doc at a hospital, she advised me against taking high dosage and told me to stop taking completely for 6 months. She also sent me for tests.
6 months later, I was re-tested .
There was a big drop in level of Vit D in my blood.
So yes, I think that the Vitamin was effective

Can buy various price range and brands to try lor. There ish a reason why some are cheap some are expensive.

For NOW, I find their packaging very plastic The cap cover very loose, not very tight. Like easily lao hong. I think still can buy.

For Garden of Life, their price is much more on the high side. Bottle ish glass type, cap cover is of course tight and solid. This brand I don’t think you will doubt for its quality, and I do recommend.

Life Extension is an even much cheaper brand iirc. I got bought 1 bottle before. I never finish it, left half a bottle. Don’t think I will buy again as I got some side effects.

Can do research on the brand and company and check ingredients and see reviews, both positive and negative.

supps arent regulated so the problem is not iherb but rather the entire industry itself.

You must do very very extensive due diligence - the only way to know and protect yourself.

Not spending a lot on supplements.
But due to health and age reason, really do need a bit of help from supplement..
That is why, trying to avoid "unnecessary expensive" items, what is important is effective...

But what some brands I bought from here worries is that... they look "cheap" and really is unknown name to me...

In fact, browsing the brandnames sold in iherb, I can only see Century 21 sold in our pharmacy... all other brands I never heard before one....

The brand for D3 is NOW, dosage was 5000 I u. Currently taking 1000 I.u.
BTW the drop in 6 months of not taking the supplement was from reading of 58.2 to 38.8. Very big drop. I only recently checked the results. If I'm not mistaken 38.8 is a little low.

I'm considering increasing my intake to maybe 2000 iu.
I think I still have an unopened bottle of 5000 in my fridge ( I prefer to keep my supplements in the fridge). So I may start on them again, but on alternate days ( D3 has half life of several days so it's OK to take on alternate days or slightly longer interval)
