Just want to share for those who are instered.
I just done a DIY mobile desktop stand using castor wheels from Daiso ($4) and a shelf board from IKEA ($3.90).

Might throw a more than 10years old Galant 160*80 table. T legs frame.

Its abit shaky now. As in if accidentally press down on keyboard side, the back will flip up abit.

So not sure what's wrong.

Will be buying new table to complement.



Maybe I could repurpose the frame with solid wood counter top from IKEA. HAHA... is there deep enough counter top though?

Likely to throw the top only.... but its too deep (80cm) for my liking now. Haha.

Well... They have different sizes

Wooden work tops (not table tops) only come in two sizes. 18x cm is the smallest size.

Bekant top has pre drilled holes
Doesn’t match gallant underframe
But if u planning on drilling new holes should be fine

Thks for confirming bekant don 'easy' fit Galant frame. Did you check out Thyge before your purchase?

Thyge doesn’t fit what I want
The length is 120cm only

Btw you will have abit of issue with bekant table for cable management if u do decide to get it
The frame sticks tight to the table so no gap for cable ties
And the cable management net it came with doesn’t fit cos one hole is misaligned and the design sucks
What I did was drill some screw hooks and put my own cable ties for cable management

My Bekant table cable management has no issue. If I need to run cables below the table other than inside the net I just use double-sided taped plastic clips

as i said, i got the right corner L table.
the holes are misaligned for the net to fit properly
