Many lau unkers (some in EDMW) are holding onto their terrace houses even though they are cash poor and have trouble maintaining those houses, because they think that if they leave the houses to their kids/ grandkids they will be loved and remembered forever and ever.
We are just common people…over time, memories can fade, and the emotions attached to them can diminish also.. the memories and emotions attached to the relationship can fade also, and eventually, after several generations people may forget all about you….Just let things go
This is good….. The gap between rich and poor has increased more and more….There are too many young sinkies are getting more lazy, all of them are just depending on parents inheritance.
massive outflow of money ... means financial hub status at risk .. means retrenchment in financial sector.. (high earners) means property prices crash... means more people jobless coz high earners not spending money here in retail...
their rental and lifestyle helps our domestic spending. The financial hub people..
but the financial hub people are here because of the HUGE influx of money into Singapore to escape their own countries' taxation or chaotic times.
