The party who will provide resolution is the credit card company and not Amaze, they are merely middleman and will not be liable for any fraudulent transaction, hence the entire dispute process is depending on the credit card company.

i lost more than 1%, i'm sure they charged me the spread exchange rate

if the transactions is online transactions authorised with the sms OTP or if its provisioned on Apple Pay and used from Apple Pay, I believe this cannot be claimed back via charge back and the consumer has to bear the charges as the person has provided the sms otp for the txn.

It's harder, but still possible to dispute under other reasons like goods being defective or counterfeit:

In most cases you'll need to push for a dispute form with the bank and send it in.

Not sure how the merchant processed the refund. But likely due to it being a new credit charge instead of voiding the original charge

Amaze USD spread seems to be 1.4%. Used Mastercard's rate and it showed the exact amount i was charged when i keyed in 1.4%

Not sure why they bothered spending money on redesigning Amaze card. Would rather Instaram devote more resources towards adding features such as Apple Pay, showing actual MCC of transactions, excel export of transactions.
