please see what i explained couple months back. pls refer each card's tnc. in F&F case, is based on MCC unless otherwise stated must be specific merchant like e.g. Popular

If rebate is specifically for singtel then it's merchant specific. The rebate is given for Telco payment so its not merchant specific, its base on MCC. Same goes for groceries, already quite clear its not merchant specific, base on MCC.

Stupid qn. If I shop at Amazon US and select SGD payment do I incur additional fee from what I see on the payment page later such as DCC ?

cause I realised with live fresh 5% seems more compelling than Amaze.

From my past experience, if you are shopping on Amazon US, if you chose SGD for payment, the amount is quite higher than the current exchange rate with USD amount. There is no other fee. So just look at the SGD amount and the USD amount and you will know the SGD markup and then you can evaluate whether it is worth it.

BTW, if you dont mind points DBS WWMC gives you 10X points for online spend and you pair it with amaze, it still retains its online tag.

You can now use DBS points to offset spending via Paylah app, so no need to wait for batches.

I would go further to say during promo times like 11.11 or 12.12 period (or whenever dbs likes), they do 100% cashback promo for redeeming points. Basically if you're earning 10x points and use Paylah app to offset future spending as and when this promo arise, the effective cashback rate become double from 2% to 4%. Add that to Amaze 1% and it becomes 5%. Using WWMC further saves me the DCC fees and Amazon in house currency exchange rates are not great.

I think Amaze is roughly 0.3% inferior.... of cos it has 1% cashback and retains the original rewards of the respective cards so it's still the best.

ICBC cards don't work with amaze. You get an error when you try to add.
