Why SCB Unlimited and not CIMB World Master? same %

I thought SCB unlimited has no min spend, as long as you spend, you get 1.5% plus 1% from Amaze.......

Anyone got the issue of merchant credit amount back to instarem and then deduct the amount to instarem. However, only the deduct amount was reflected on the credit card linked but not the initial credited amount?

haha. Here is the story;

First, instarem debit an amount say $100 in the app.
Then instrem credit an amount $100 in the app.

So by default, I will have a +$100 and then a -$100.

In my credit card however, I only have the -$100 record but not the initial $100.

I tried to raise the issue with the chat, but they say since the debit and credit transaction happened within a fraction of a second, only -$100 was shown.

Typically such case should not happen but it happen to you it seems. So the advice to other holders would be
First, instarem debit an amount say $100 in the app.
count seconds 1,2 3 .. 10
Then instrem credit an amount $100 in the app.
Above delay 10 seconds in between will ensure both transactions will be captured?

I believe you need to wait for a few days for refunded amount to be reflected on the credit card.

try at your own risk for that extra 1% you risk not getting the benefit. this is clearly a merchant specific promotion.

Can call bank and confirm after spent right? As rebate take 60days to come in.

there is the risk that they will not honour your esso spend. Anything that you spend via Amaze, to DBS's eyes the merchant is Amaze not Esso. Esso is the merchant to Amaze's eyes.

Just use the card directly and save yourself some stress.

If its those mcc targetted “petrol spend” , it will works cos it detect by mcc.

yes merchant specific. Esso to be exact, not MCC. i don't use esso card but you go read the t&c, it's quite Esso specific. if you use the card at other non-esso petrol stations, there's no benefits.

also just noticed this statement: "18% instant fuel discount is not applicable for Mobile Wallet payments such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay." this means that they're very strict and particular about using the actual DBS Esso physical cards for such, and Amaze definitely doesn't fits in.
