searched a few page, didn't see this question asked before.

Anyone tried remittance via credit card option? Like to know the MCC used by Instarem.

Remittance via credit card the fee is higher, I found it not worth it. MCC surely will be excluded for points/cashback from most cards.

yup, but for a larger amount for travel, the rate is better than money changer. Just double checking if anyone else has done it to confirm the MCC although it might already be excluded for the points / rebates.

I’m supposed to have a refund from Lazada and it’s not reflected on Amaze yet. It’s quite some days ago already. I reached out to Lazada and they confirmed refund was already made. I quite trust Lazada as they have always been prompt with the refunds. Should I now go to amaze or WWMC to check on the refund?

water/electricity which falls under mcc 4900 is excluded from any points across all citibank cards. Internet payment to telco via Amaze should be eligible for 10x points.

I’m new to cards (like Amaze, YouTrip, Revolut) that do not charge FX fees for foreign currency spends. May I know which is the best for my non-regular USD purchases?

Generally Amaze is the best as can get the benefits of the linked cards e.g. 10× points on citi rewards mastercard or dbs wwmc; 8% rebate on maybank fnf for selected MCC. There is also 1% Amaze rebate.

Oh, I don’t use any of the cards you mentioned. Is it possible to do a topup using UOB Absolute for the 1.7%?
Since my USD purchases are not regular, will I still get the 1% Amaze rebate?
