Miles are never FOC because you could have spent that amount on a high cashback card instead, especially if you "MS" by buying supermarket vouchers.

I wouldnt call buying supermarket vouchers as MS. This is called pre paying. Unless you can sell the supermarket vouchers for par value in cash. Then you can call it MS, as there is no limit to how much supermarket vouchers you can buy

i also experienced the same thing this morning... 2 transactions i did a few days ago got deuplicated again this morning... still waiting for instarem to reply...

and also realized how difficult it is to contact them if got such disputes... making me think twice whether to continue using this card... their security does not seem reliable...

Yesterday got a duplicate charges on my Citi rewards card linked then I blocked my Citi rewards card.

But just now got a false transaction on my blocked Citi rewards card.

WTF is going on with Amaze? I already blocked the Amaze card temporarily.

Ntuc gift cards can be used at cheers, fairprice or unity. So I feel it's quite flexible

5% rebate for supermarket is better than the 2% amaze charges for Grab, so what he meant is he rather pay that fee than lose the opportunity on the rebate

This depends on individual families' circumstances. Some may exceed the groceries category amount, and if so, it may make sense to use NTUC giftcard.

Dunno can use to topup Panda Pay or not, and skip the 2% charges........haha

I'm using it to fund foreign currency transactions that I'm using wallet to pay (those that doesn't yield me any credit card rewards)

doesn't really seem to be an issue since its more difficult to earn the points right now

The issue is u can’t do mixed mode of payment. Eg, start $20, spend $18.52, and you are stuck with $1.48 in wallet.

keeping small amount there is okay la, if you decided not to use it anymore, can top up exact amount and use it for local transactions that doesn't yield any reward using your credit card

The duplicate charges were reversed by the end of the day (Saturday night).
