Have anyone tried linking Amaze to a foreign-issued Mastercard?

In the website, it said only can link to Singapore Mastercard. But I am wondering if it is really blocked. I came across a foreign Mastercard that has good exchange rate and gives cashback for online retail payment. So, thinking if can link to Amaze to convert spending into online but only want to get it if can link to Amaze.

Starting 1st April, we will be making the below changes to ensure we can continue offering you the best travel card experience and competitive foreign exchange rates.

Change in 1% MCC fee:
1% MCC fee on domestic payments for security brokers, insurance, healthcare, education, car dealers, government and business services will be removed.
Note:

  • Payments that fall under MCC 6540 (e.g. E-wallet top ups) and MCC 4111 (EZ-Link wallet top-ups and TransitLink General Ticketing Machines only) will continue to incur a 1% MCC fee (min. 0.50 SGD).
  • To check the Merchant Category Code (MCC) of your amaze transactions, go to the ‘Activity’ tab on your app and tap on the specific transaction.
New 1% domestic fee on SGD transactions:
When amaze is linked to a card, a 1% fee (min. 0.50 SGD) will be applied on all monthly domestic spending in excess of 1,000 SGD.

More and more restrictions coming into AMAZE card, can predict that sooner or later this card will be useless just like Grab MasterCard.

Just decided not to continue with it.

The new changes change my mind. Will continue to use it for a few more months.

Read carefully. If you gotten forex then there won't be a 1%.

My personal experience tell me the forex is around 1.8% on top of what revolut charge so its still very useful for me. Just used it for a trip to Malaysia and got enough points to redeem $20 credit.

no 1% fees for overseas charge.
i think still worth it to pair this with Citi rewards card to get 4mpd for local charge and ladys card for overseas charge if meet your categories

I tot lady charges also drop to 4mpd liao.
was thinking to pair with uob krisflyer for those "online" boutique spend like LV etc, or jewelry / watches spent.

I think its dependent on the bank of the linked card, certain banks post same day
Hi, can I check if anyone has any experience using Amaze Card with Citi Rewards Card on taobao website? Typically how long does it take for transaction to be posted to Citi account? Thanks.

amaze usually 2 days is the quickest. i dont think it matters when merchant claims the money from Amaze because they will still post the transaction to your citibank card
