Thank AMD or Intel will still be on their shitty Skylake architecture. Works both ways since AMD is also forced to innovate even much more this time around to counter Intel. In the end, consumers win.

Swapped over to a 13900KF + pushed my adie a little. 30K CPU for 13900KF, 25K cpu for 12900K.

New Z790i Edge board should arrive today, hopefully these sticks can push to 8000c34 at the very least. So far hynix adie has been a constant headache to tune. Way too voltage sensitive.

If it's Hynix, most of them should be able to run 7000. It's a question of voltage.

Just make a simple custom loop:

• Any pump block combo
  • Barrow DDC pump block combo
  • EK DDC pump block combo
  • Modultra Lobo + DDC pump block combo
• Add any thick rad you want
  • Barrow 60mm rad
  • EK Surface X series rad 58mm
  • Corsair XR7
  • heatkiller L
• Add good fans that can cope with thicker fans
  • phanteks t30
  • noctua a12x25
  • Bequiet Silent wing pro 4
• Get 4x 16/10 compression fittings
• EK zmt tube
• Any clear coolant

You will get better performance plus easier maintenance in the future

I actually have many custom water cooling parts lying around to form a temporary loop. Just that I got no waterblock for my 7900 xt yet at the moment.

Probably till then I will just remain stock first.

I thought can just buy a random 360mm aio and play a bit of oc before the 7900 xt waterblocks come available. But turns out, the mirage 360mm is just too lousy to tame the heat from 13700k. Probably considering deliding in the future.
