MarineX, I guess it is abit of both. Being a local developer, my app would be just 1 of the apps which will never surfaced in most people's search for apps to install if I never do publicity for it. Plus, putting this inside the sale forum just don't seems right as people do not PM me, email me to buy the item and it is a digital goods not one you can touch, feel etc. I am pretty much using this thread as publicity

To all the people who has bought or is wondering whether they want to buy the app,
I just submitted Version 1.1 and added the most requested feature- Speed SMS. I managed to make it able to open the default SMS app with the SMS history as many has requested.

Please continue to support and give new ideas/ features

you can always give it as a free trial - and if satisfied users are satisfied they will pay for it for the full version.

The truth is people are more willing to fork out money for physical items such as accessories than for non physical items such as softwares. Hence there is a trend that people are less willing to pay even $0.99 for an app while they can pay $$$$ for casings which aren't worth the high price tag in the first place.

Good luck in peddling your app in this kind of culture! That said, I only support good app and not whether it is local or not. Being home made in Singapore is not a selling point to me. I am ok with the current features which iPhone provides and have no need for the speed dial feature. But personal preferences dffer.

Sadly I like going through the hassle of tapping so many icons haha. But if you have it free for a day, may just try and fall in love with it.

1 icon is actually quite pathetic. If you gave a 1 icon free trial, I'd actually be very pissed and never buy anything from you ever. Give free trial also give something worthwhile la. Zzz

i rather TS spend more time improve the Apps. *which also dont need to flip to program then make the call and sms of-cos.

FYI: those free apps got iAD to support. you tot they really a fool?
those are mainly big companies with supports.
singapore company still not ready to spend $$$ on iAd.

You are really a big fan of this app.

I think you are more active and defensive than TS. Hmm...

Anyway, the admin here has the final say. If they feel promotion of app is ok, then hopefully it stays this way.

I suggest TS to change the title to recommendation for an app.
Since there's so many Apps recommendation or Apps must have thread in this forum but nobobdy is making a big fuss over it. Most are not free btw. But they serve the same purpose of advertising.

How about showing some support for local developer and stop making a big fuss over it?

We will support you too if you got some apps worth looking at.
