I fully agree with you. If the issue is about advertising, then it's really up to the mods. But if supporting means to get things free, just so typical Singaporean. For $0.99, please it cost less than a can of coke from the petrol kiosk! No wonder it's hard for entrepreneurship to thrive in Singapore when it's a society made up of freeloaders.

I think the Mods will lock this thread soon. If 1 is pleased with the product he will buy it. Difficult to change consumer mindset. Business should anticipate it instead of trying to change it.

1 icon is actually quite pathetic. If you gave a 1 icon free trial, I'd actually be very pissed and never buy anything from you ever. Give free trial also give something worthwhile la. Zzz

I suggest TS to change the title to recommendation for an app.
Since there's so many Apps recommendation or Apps must have thread in this forum but nobobdy is making a big fuss over it. Most are not free btw. But they serve the same purpose of advertising.

How about showing some support for local developer and stop making a big fuss over it?

We will support you too if you got some apps worth looking at.

I think its a very boorish behaviour from you by commenting on TS's app as "crap". However nonsense you might feel that his app is not worth the price tagged to it, I feel its not right to simply just wham! bang! straight at pple's face by calling their product "crap". Totally uncalled for attitude.

However, I have tested my app and submit for review. Apple had also tested the app during the review stage which is why the next upgrade might take a while.

I do not treat the kind brothers and sisters here as testers fo my app.

Let me use the food reviews in the forums as an example- it might not be the best one though.

Most of them are by the kind brothers and sisters here. They paid for the food and comment on them based on the food's merits. Surely the stall did not give them free food to try until the kind brothers and sisters are happy with the food to give comments.

The beauty of an Appstore is this- I could improve the app and release to the kind brothers and sister here who bought the app as free updates. Meaning to say, the next upgrade is a free update to the people who bought it. I just hope Apple reviewed the upgrade faster. Keke

I think 3 or 5 would be decent enough. Maybe you can place a timebomb on it so after say 1 week? The app can't be used and they would have to purchase the paid app to continue?
