I am not able to create a reminder in iPhone 5S. I upgraded to iOS 7.0.1 today when I got it. I tapped everywhere to try to create a New List but nothing happens. Anyone encounter this issue?

Thanks.

New list or new reminder? For new list, tap on the "+" sign on the top right.

For new reminder, tap "Reminders" first, then scroll all the way to the bottom and tap on the empty space just below your last reminder.

I had trouble finding it at first also, seems like a step backwards.

Have you done "Reset All Settings" and fine tune your settings??

I've did the above on iPhone 4, 5 and iPad mini, can say that it does improve battery life.

Worst case would have to do a DFU restore and install apps one by one instead of restoring a backup. Do note that this will erase all SMS, whatsapp/LINE.. etc history, all photos and music.

For LTE & Wifi, I usually enable both with I'm at home and only disable wifi when I out, thus "forcing" my iPhone to use mainly LTE/3G.

Try the above methods 1st before concluding that your battery really as an issue as most of the time when I help fine tune other's iPhone, I would find certain features/functions enabled when user don't require them.

I did a clean install, did not restore from backup and I seem to have avoided quite a lot of issues mentioned here. Battery life is decent, similar to what I had before on iOS 6.

Anyway, just to share, in case anyone here is unaware, Whatsapp now supports chat backup. Go to "Settings" > "Chat Settings" and you can back up your messages. I only learnt about it when I was backing up my stuff prior to the upgrade to iOS 7.

I had this issue when I tried it the first time. Then a message appears and asks if you want to allow Photobucket to access your photos. I selected yes and then when I tried uploading from my iPhone's photo album, it didn't appear. I closed the app and relaunched it then it started working.

Realised the phone seems gets rather warm (if not hot) if surfing net on safari on 3G network

Well, it doesn't get this bad on iOS 6

Hope this gets better with future updates

Any 1 tried to share contact and send through messages? I got 2 I5S, but 1 was not able to open the contact and it shows a different symbol (a human shape symbol) unlike the 1 that can received, it will display the First Alphabet of contact.

Since your warranty ending, go ahead to claim it ba.

Personally, I would preferred 4G/LTE over solely 3G as many of my friends(including me) had tested that the battery does not drain battery faster than solely on a 3G network in different areas of singapore.

In fact, 3G drains more battery when it can't get a good/stable connection. You will notice it when you using solely 3G and the phone starts to heats up with slow surfing speed..;)

is it a good move to upgrade my iOS for 4s to iOS 7 ?

i have upgraded to ios 7 on my iphone 4s.

pros: fresh new design starting to get used to the new colours and looks

safari tabs very useful now.

cons: a very insignificant maybe 0.5 second lag when exiting applications back to home screen due to the new zoom in zoom out visual effects

battery life used up even faster.

overall i think 4S might be a wee bit slower but this is really insignificant... phone seems to be able to handle it well. m y bigger concern is battery life...

Bought a preowned ip5 over the weekend, running on iOS 7. Coming from iOS 6 with jb(I have 2 iphone4 and 1 iPad mini),instantly I just couldn't adapt myself to iOS 7 and thought of offloading it within hours of ownership.
Fast forward, using it now seamlessly on ios7, and patiently waiting for untethered jb for iOS 7. :)
