When I switch between apps by clicking down home button twice, the app will not fully maximise (first image), it is not until after half a second later then the top and bottom edges snap to the screen.

Using 5S iOS 7.0.1.

I also noticed this. A very short few milliseconds of lag like that when they resize the screen size

ever since i upgrade to ios7, i really regret.
battery deplete so fast kns.
Now the sound recorder also like buang. i usually go lectures will use the recorder record lecture. but now dunnoe y cant even record 3 hrs lectures. now record 10 min will auto stop leh.
wats the problemmmm..

Every OS release is like that one. Need to wait for 2 to 3 updates then it's safe to update

I posted this under another thread, but let me re-post it here.

Saving battery tips:

1. Disable the parallax function (yeah your pretty icons and background moves, just a little)
Settings>General>Accessibility>Reduce motion>On

2. Disable background apps refresh
Settings>General>Background App Refresh>Off

3. Disable certain location based services (you don't want them anyway)
Settings>Privacy>>System Services>
Diagnostics & Usage>Off
Location-Based iAds>Off
Popular Near Me>Off
Setting TIme Zone>Off (unless u travel really a lot through time zones)
Traffic>Off

4. Disable airdrop (i think quite a number of people don't use this)
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the control centre, select Airdrop, select Off. This prevents the constant scanning for an airdrop source or target.

5. One last one, which is just switching to airplane mode whenever you are going through underground portions of the MRT, in the train. This stops the phone from scanning, prevents 3g/4g swapping. The phone actually works very very hard when doing that, especially when connection constantly varies between 0 and poor. I had once encountered this, while surfing (lavender - tiong bahru), 15% gone, and the page wasn't even loaded.

Switching to airplane mode now is just so easy. Try it.

Its entirely up to you if you wish to retain the above settings, whether you need them or you want them. But it does save considerable battery life when you stop all that auto scanning going on all the time.

might as well buy an android phone with better battery life..

is your location service for weather on? try open the weather app. let it load for a few mins. it should show on the notification centre. if don't have try on and off your phone.

My iPhone 5 doesn't get the 100% + full plug even after overnight charging. It just stays at 100% with the lighting bolt. But overall battery life is still normal. The phone is 3 months old.

There's another lag issue when you bring up the multi tasking screen. It will lag for awhile before you can start scrolling. Wonder if you guys are experiencing this as well.
