Seems like Crystal has more votes. Anyway from what I hear now its no longer free so cost is no longer an issue.

But does it block ads from youtube videos?

Bought purify today and my view
- it loads very fast after blocking the ads..
- it can block ads from YouTube. But the blocking will take few seconds before playing the YouTube. There is no need to skip ads.
- you have option to block downloading of image, script and font.

Overall experience is good. If you do not need very fast loading of webpage using ad block app, crystal shall be good enough.

Note that YouTube ads blocking works only if you play YouTube in safari app and not YouTube app.

Crystal is definitely in the top 3 right now. With an active dev like Dean, I believe it's just a matter of time before Crystal overtakes or at least be on par as the other (more expensive) solutions.

Can block ads already save data. Blocking ads may not be very significant for data saving if the website is image intensive.

For purify, you can even block downloading of images if you want purely text and not images.

Yes they both do.
Avoid running two content blockers at once. Might slow you down
