I don't have him so can't comment on usability but his kit on is def type but he's balance type stats... a pseudo defender with decent def...
If ur Chris or Bearman is almost same level/* as him, can test run to see whose better...

For me ,the key is getting Jack to get the area damage immunity potion...
I placed the whole team, except Jack, at the back of the map (after clearing the mob) Jack is placed besides the potion... the dragon will rush you at turn 10ish.... and once he comes over, get Jack to take the potion, move more to the middle between the two potions and use Jack to get the potion before the effect is ends (long press Jack and you will see remaining turn:2 when effect is ending soon)...

TLDR: Wait till Dragon boss rush to you, get Jack to take the potion and move to next potion before effect ends.... hellfire all you can...
it's actually really easy once the two potion comes out and the dragon is chasing after your Jack.... he can't damage Jack while Jack saps his HP.

Edit: I took a team of Jack, Chenny, Serendi, Mas & Gilian. Take a team that allows you to clear mob fast and also spam heal, buff on each other for hellfire spam. It's ok if the rest of the team, except Jack, get wiped out.

but really see a lot of people with Rage, skills yet to maxed but still scary strong....

All characters are usable with the right gear. See all the top players who are able to equip their characters with full set gears, wonder how much money they dumped into this game.
