my main use for ipad mini is to watch show/anime do some light reading (newspaper or books, etc.) browse net while on bed/sofa? Is it worth the $$?

moi currently orledi hab PC and mainly game on PC, ipad or tablet more for relaxing chilling while not using PC

Feels free to intro moi android tablet as well, moi saw xiaomi releasing their tablet
what about other brands like samsung, oneplus, oppo, huawei, etc.?

if u take care of the ipad device.. it is build to last.

I am still using a ipad air (1st gen) that was passed down from my BIL for my kids to use. Android sadly is basically lag fest.

If u want to compare, u should compare samsung s7+ vs ipad air 64gb vs ipad mini 64gb

But if u just use it for content consumption (netflix, youtube) and gaming, mobility will be a factor. You should really consider the new ipad mini 64.

But if u prefer to get one with more storage. U should consider ipad pro 128 already if u do not require 256gb.

I am thinking iPad mini or iPad Air? Some telco shop selling iPad Air for $720 and cheaper than mini. Is it worth to buy iPad Air if portability is not a concern? I am thinking paying less for a larger screen seems more shiok. Any thoughts?

If you wanted just a bigger screen if performance and Center Stage are not important for you, then iPad Air definitely worth it.

The pricing is quite crazy. If you don’t need the size, maybe just get 11” m1 IPad Pro. Lol! $749 for entry level mini. Haha! Sounds crazy
Pricing more expensive then the previous generation zzzzzz

Rather pay a bit more to get M1 iPad Pro.
But then overall depending on what you use the iPad for

Like that you buy the normal iPad will do, if not iPad Air. No point on getting the Pros model.
iPad mini too small for watching shows.
I have iPhone 12 mini, use it to watch shows, man its so small.

The mini is the perfect size for me. When you hold it to read and surf internet you will start to appreciate the weight and dimensions.

Will you be using it on bed mostly? If yes then mini is preferred. To be able to hold it comfortably in one hand with it's weight and size is important.

if your usage is the above.. and you find tt 64gb storage is sufficient, can go for ipad mini 64gb loh.

If u find yourself need more than 64gb storage and is looking at 256 gb versions. Please consider getting the 128gb ipad pro m1
