They are anticipating that pre-orders will increase and the shipping dates will change. There will be buyers late to the game and still want it on launch day.

Agree with you - they can just place order directly. It is so much of a hassle to place through others etc if got warranty issues etc. Furthermore even on launch day, retailers like Best Denki or Challenger, Istudio etc will have stocks too.

Something just dont make sense. Ipad mini 6 for m1 for the same tier plan, ipad air 4 is considerably much cheaper than ipad mini 6 lol

iPad Air 4 is technically older than the iPad mini 6. That’s their logic.

I bought 1 iPad mini and I love the size. So small and can fit into small bag. If you are not someone who bring it around, get the air 4. Big screen and can multi task. Of course u sacrifice the A15, size and centre stage

People who get the mini is usually because of the size not the performance. There is no point in getting the pro if your usage is light.

Nah, not the same. Pro is a lot bigger. Is not about the value anymore. It’s about the portability. 11 inch is almost the size of an Ultrabook laptop. It isn’t the same, not even close.

I personally was carrying the iPad mini 3&4. After which I misplaced my iPad mini 4 in a cab, I never bought an iPad since then till the iPad Air 3 came about. An instant regret moving to iPad Air 3. Due to the size, it’s heavier, bigger and not easy to game with. Till I bought the Samsung Fold 2, the iPad Air 3 become an white elephant. Cause of the size, I find it super hard to game on. The controls especially when I game with Mobile Legend. Fold 2 was easily the best screen size to game on. The downside was the battery, being a 2 in 1 device, it is damn hard to last a day outside. Hence I decided to let go the fold 2 and get the iPad mini 6 instead. And a Samsung s21+ for my phone usage.

Not forgetting iPad mini 6 has become an 8.3 inch screen. 8.3 inch screen is by no mean small for media consumption either. More than enough for media consumption on the go, with the powerful a15, decent battery, size and portability, it’s a monster tablet for its size.
