For iPad mini with and without cellular, is there a difference in GPS capabilities? I am thinking of getting an iPad mini 7 and one of the use case would be during overseas trips, I can use it to do navigation while self driving or walking about. I read somewhere that iPads without cellular doesn’t have GPS or GPS isn’t accurate.

Wi-Fi models does not have GPS

for watch Youtube or downloaded FHD/4K content, is the iPad mini 7 screen LCD screen at 60Hz still ok on the eye?
I only have owned the iPad Pro 2020 which ProMotion so not sure if my eyes can withstand at 60Hz screen anymore.

I can share my experience using the iPhone 16PM with 120hz, iPhone 16 with 60hz and of course Xiaomi 14 Ultra with 144 hz if you are keen

Why not just share for the community to know regardless?
Because I worry Xiaomi not being an apple product , later people not happy

But if you all would like to know what 144 vs 120 vs 60 feels like , the difference is noticeable when you downgrade and not when you upgrade

144 is very smooth and neat. 60 is also smooth but you know it just stops at where you stop. It's not like it will "slide"

But 2 of the decided you mentioned are Apple products, so is the majority anyway

Just bought a new iPad mini 7 256gb with cellular. I really like the size and lightweight. The display quality really needs some adjustment.
I bought a cheap folio case from Shopee but its not very good.
Quite a few youtube reviews say the Zugu case is very good. Has anyone used it before?

Can elaborate about the display quality?

Jelly scroll problem not very observable either in landscape or portrait mode. But web page scrolling smoothness in terms of how black text on white background is not good, very visible difference from a 120hz display.

With brightness set at the max, fast scrolling of webpages with a lot of textual content strains my eyes. I will need to slowly scroll to avoid this problem.

On certain productivity apps which I need to authenticate with Microsoft as part of setup in the new iPad mini, during the login process while authentication is happening, the app’s background will flash on and off until authentication is completed. Not sure if this is a corner case but I did not observe this when I was doing a similar setup on my IP16PM.

Watching 4K content on Infuse Pro is quite ok. Watching 4K fast paced videos on Netflix like Transformers Bumblebee is pretty good.

Text scrolling and zoom in/out on the Adobe Acrobat app is also not as smooth on the iPad mini 7 compared to iPad Pro (my one is from 2020).

Color accuracy seems comparable between the iPad mini 7 and my 2020 iPad Pro.

Still trying to get use to unlocking via Touch ID. The Touch ID button looks identical to the IP16 camera control except for dimensions.

Due to its portability, bought one to try out. Getting use to touchid too. So far so good, but I noticed the sound is very low even if I adjust the vol7me to the same as my pro model 2021… compare to phone it is also very very low.. is this normal?

Are you able to get used to the 60hz LCD display?

Did you really use before? I have both ipad pro m4 and ipad mini 7 indeed the screen doesn't look as good as ipad pro but I think is still acceptable compare to the price and purpose. IPad mini is so compact and light. Only drawback for ipad mini I wish there is pro motion.

I am planning to get a ipad pro 11 inch. Planning the switch after a long time android tab usage. In my previous iPad (think iPad 9) my frequent used apps Shopee, Lazada and all were just an iPhone app with an option to zoom. So most of the apps were poorly scaled and not full screen. Is it still the same?
