I wonder… does anyone play infinite flight on iPad Pro 2021? Keen to know if it lags a bit when the there are many players online at the same time. I’m using the iPad Pro 2018 12.9 and I do experience dropped frames and some freezing occasionally when airspace gets busy. Considering upgrading to the M1 iPad Pro if it is much better.

Been playing Infinite Flight for a long time but these days lesser. I'm using the 11" 2018 model and I don't have any problems with lagging even when there are many players online.

Has anyone tried connecting your iPad Pro to a monitor and using it as a laptop/desktop replacement? How is the experience

Latest iPad pro keyboard case received by a YouTuber and he reviewed, no physical difference compare to the 2020 version, but 2021 iPad pro must use the new one...

iPadOS support for external monitor is very limited.

Only selected apps will show extended view. Most of the time, external monitor will just mirror the iPad display so there's no point connecting to external monitor.

Do you think this Shiftscreen app will solve the problem?

Infinite flight isn’t a game

Even if ShiftScreen can do whatever you want to do, iPadOS is still limited with file management, text editing, Excel, and other things that are so simple to do with a laptop.

Just today, I wanted to open a MOV video in a folder in the Files app. I can't. How retarded is that?

I also can't send that MOV file to the Photos app, so I just can't open that MOV file unless I go download some other app, transfer the MOV over.

With desktop OS, you just double click and the MOV will open.

You are going to get a lot of frustrations if you handle lots of files, or different filetypes.

But ultimately whether it can be laptop/desktop replacement will come down to the type of work you do.

Yeah I agree that the iPad Pro file management system is retarded. On my iPad Pro 2018 just trying to save a file to Dropbox is frustrating

Actually just asking, is the external dimensions of the 2020 model for the 11” exactly the same as this 2021 model? If so, should be able to use the same cases.

Was very excited to get the 2021 11" iPad Pro but not having MiniLed is giving me pause.

I currently have the 12.9" and it is too big for what I need.

I’m on the same fence
Wanted 11” for portability. But only 12.9” for mini LED

just set my mind on 12.9”
But scared will regret

Why would apple do anything to make their own MacBook or iMac redundant? IPad Pro will never be able to fully replace them, pe harps for a certain task or purpose like quick photo/video editing while on the move or certain specific task.

anyway I’ve ordered my 2021 to replace my 2018.... any good case similar to the new otterbox symmetry? Where there’s a retractable pen slot. I received the otterbox and find quality like any taobao case but at 119 I would expect a little more.... sigh
