Until macOS is redesigned for touch interaction, there is no chance of macOS running on iPad. These two products will continue to operate in different operating system while complementing each other.

The 12.9" ipad pro is a tad too big. Unless you are using it as a desktop replacement.

Not sure, told by Apple SG store's staffs when I purchase my Airpods Max. And also writen in apple newsroom.
