The new 12.9 will be slightly thicker. It might fit but probably a little of a squeeze if using an existing case. Screen protectors shouldn't be an issue.

Even if the difference is 0.5mm, can feel it as they're made to fit perfectly so the tolerance is extremely minute. You might be able to use existing cases, just that need to press a little harder to fit in.

i ordered on the 30th Apr but probably a few hours later when pre-order opens so if it is first come first serve, those who order earliest on 30th Apr may get it first

Just follow the earliest date Apple indicated. That will be the date you will receive the product.
Apple always over estimate their shipping date. Only in rare instances, they'll change their shipping dates.

ordered 30th April. Says shipping to arrive 28th May. Now shipped out arriving 21st.

my estimated arrival is 03 jun - 17 jun. such a huge diff

Should have a bit of stocks. Stocks for iPad won’t run out as fast as iPhone

Going for combo touch, prefer some form of protection for the iPad.. tried to search for it but seems only able to purchase from apple.com? Any other retailers have sell the combo touch for 11 inch?
