nah apple pencil hover is a unique feature for ipad pro m2 only. check out the spec on apple website.

Extremely disappointed with the new iPad Pro. Only main upgrade being the M2 chip… Held out my purchase to wait for this and I’m thinking if I should wait for the 2023 edition or even 2024… Funny how they can implement the front camera for iPad in a landscape position but not the iPad Pro. Believe Apple is trying to cut cost and reuse the same mould and design for this year edition. Will we ever see a radicial redesign of the iPad Pro?

Nope, Stage Manager is a new feature in iPadOS 16 for M1 iPads and above. Anything using the A series chips are not supported.

Boring update. I am using 2017 12.9 iPad Pro and iPad mini 6.

lol your 2017 ipad pro screen still work? a common defect is the screen backlight cui then whole screen gone. all my other 12.9 no such issue

Must see if it's a worthy upgrade or not. I usually don't upgrade iPad every year, but the current iPad Pro does not support 5G SA.

Yup spent a lot recently so this one have to be a very careful decision.

Today we paid more than $4k including all accessories for an iPad Pro 16G Ram n 1TB wifi + cellular

I replaced twice for free. Had a touch screen non responsive issue. Replacement unit was good. Best thing is mine is 512gb cellular, bought 1st hand during 2018 comex show for 906 sgd, 50% off and additional 5% off if use cash.

Stage manager is also available for 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro. Just limited to opening 4 apps at one time vs 8 on M1 iPad Pro.
