Anyone has any recent data points (payments made in Feb 23) for the mcc when tax or insurance payments is made? According to CSO, there is some change to their system. Please also share whether you're using a visa card for payment. Thanks in advance.

Got a lousy, vague answer that it should still work. They used to just confirm it's still 7399. Refused to confirm this time. So I can only know for sure after a transaction is attempted.

hm if there is any change by ipaymy, it would be to make it easier to earn cashback, not the other way around.

Hope so but if it's really the case, CSO wouldn't need to be so vague about it. Even refused to confirm that MCC is still 7399. So can only confirm with new data points.

I just lost my cashback for SC Spree in a Feb ipaymy transaction. SC CSO claims the transaction was not tagged as an online one and hence not eligible, and iPayMy CSO states that although the payment processor was changed, there is no change in the processing method or MCC. So beware and track your cashback in Mar.
